Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Technician Helper in Atlanta, GA, onsite. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, boilers and chillers, while gaining hands-on experience and safety training.

You will work with skilled technicians, adhere to safety policies, document tasks, and interact with customers to provide updates and reports on service status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licenses and/or training as required by local law.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, belts, and lubrication.
• Assist with repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, and rooftop units.
• Assist with rebuilds of HVAC and applied equipment.
• Receive detailed direction while sharing hands-on task responsibilities with Technicians II, III, and Lead.
• Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication.
• Interact with customers by offering status reports before, during, and after each call.
