Job summary

VW International seeks an HVAC Mechanic for Ellsworth AFB to perform skilled mechanical maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems at the 28th Medical Group Treatment Facility. You will inspect, repair, install, and modify equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of boilers, chillers, and controls.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with HVAC experience; EPA 608 certification is preferred, and you will use a range of tools to keep systems running

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of commercial HVAC operation experience.
• Experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems and related codes.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify and install commercial HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of HVAC equipment at Ellsworth MTF.
• Operate hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Maintain records and write reports on tasks completed and parts used.
