Job summary

Pearce Services, LLC is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This regional role requires travel within 60 miles of Fitchburg, MA, and is best suited for self-directed, responsible professionals who want to grow in the telecom industry.

Core duties include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cooling systems; performing performance checks; handling after-hours call-outs; and documenting daily

Qualifications

• EPA Level 2 or Universal certification is required.
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, commercial preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-out services.
• Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.

• Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Additional requirements:

• Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Fitchburg, Massachusetts area.
• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnight trips required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation

$24.00–$43.00 hourly/DOE. Compensation is influenced by skill set, level of experience, and location. Eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
