Job summary

Rhodes College is seeking an HVAC Mechanic who will perform skilled duties including operation, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, ensuring efficient operation of all A/C, heating, and refrigeration equipment.

The ideal candidate must have 3 years of experience in the A/C field, hold a valid driver's license, and a Universal Refrigerant recovery certificate. Rhodes College offers a competitive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of work experience in A/C and heating field required.
• Universal Refrigerant recovery certificate required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• A valid driver’s license, required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, sets up, calibrates, and operates control equipment.
• Troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance on A/C, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Responds to emergencies during evening and nighttime hours.
