Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference material.
Applicant must live within school district, or be within a reasonable driving distance to answer after-hour or weekend calls when necessary.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, maintain, repair and install heating and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the district.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems.
Repair, replace or calibrate controls including thermostats and switches.
Install new heating and a/c systems and components and relocate and expand existing systems as needed.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC equipment, including changing of filters and cleaning condensors and coils.
Receive and complete work orders.
Other duties as assigned.
