Job summary

HES is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to work on heating, ventilation and related controls in Chambersburg, PA. The role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of complex HVAC systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

On-site work supports educational facilities with a strong service mindset. The position requires journeyman HVAC credentials, five years of commercial HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with CMMS/BAS systems.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial HVAC with valid driver’s license.
• Journeyman HVAC license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and routine maintenance, service, repair, and installations on heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnostic checks on systems.
• Maintain documentation for work orders, status of equipment, parts requirements, and manhour reports.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot heating and ventilating controls; respond to alarms and outages.
• On-call duties and support other trades as needed.
