Job summary

You will troubleshoot and service HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, test electrical circuits, inspect for leaks, install thermostats, and ensure compliance with plans and specs. Must have valid SC driver's license, pass drug testing, and be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of HVAC experience.
Valid South Carolina driver's license required.
New Employee and Random drug testing required.
Proficient in PC-based computer systems and tablet/smartphone technology.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds occasionally; stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and service operations on HVAC systems to diagnose problems.
Perform preventative maintenance on customers’ HVAC systems.
Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using testing equipment.
Test pipes or joints for leaks using pressure gauge or soap solution.
Join pipes to equipment to form complete circuit and reassemble after repairs.
Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specs.
Obtain and maintain required certifications.
