Job summary

Saginaw Valley State University is hiring a full-time HVAC Assistant to maintain and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems at the Main Campus in Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a high school diploma, and a valid Michigan Driver License. Responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, inspecting heating and refrigeration systems, and maintaining accurate logs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with strong math skills.
• Must possess a valid Michigan Driver License.
• Four years job-related experience or equivalent technical training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair boilers and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and emergency service calls on campus.
