Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a skilled HVAC service technician for field-based work at customer locations in the United States. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup commercial HVAC systems, applying air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Responsibilities include coordinating with team leaders and customers, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and maintaining safety and asset control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for minimum 12 months with clean record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC units using blueprints, engineering specifications and hand tools.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets, with flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays.
• Continuously enforce safety and quality in every service call.
