Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in the United States is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to assist seasoned Service Technicians in installing and repairing environmental control systems at customer sites. You will learn refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and reading blueprints while supporting on-site projects.

This field-based role offers hands-on training, safety-focused work, and a path to advanced technical roles within a leading manufacturer.

Qualifications

No Industry Experience Required.
Technical HVAC training/experience not required but considered for proficiency and starting compensation.
Must be at least 18 years old on day 1.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a valid driver's license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations in last 3 years.
Strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.

Responsibilities

Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan equipment repair at customer locations.
Coordinate with supervising field technician and customers to understand on-site installation requirements.
Use software/tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
Maintain safety standards and security of company assets.
