Schweitzer is seeking an HVAC Technician to service and maintain equipment on-site at Snowshoe, WV. The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and routine inspections while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will support related trades and assist with building systems maintenance during year-round operations. The position is full-time and year-round, with a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication, organization, people and mechanical skills.
• 2 years as an HVAC technician with a universal HVAC license with EPA certification.
• Knowledge of propane fireplaces and cable/satellite television systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all prescribed maintenance and service on equipment per manufacturer, federal/state, insurance, and company requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to minimize downtime; assemble and test machines to verify issues are resolved.
• Inspect HVAC equipment and facilities during operations, making necessary adjustments and notifying supervisors of any abnormalities.
• Record and document all maintenance activities in compliance with company standards; maintain historical logs and complete detailed work orders for billing.
• Conduct periodic testing and inspections to ensure safe, dependable operation of HVAC systems.
• Maintain HVAC inventory levels and notify supervisors of supply needs.
