Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial environments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to accurately diagnose system issues and complete repairs while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and system performance checks.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical system issues and repair or replace faulty components.
• Service commercial refrigeration systems, including equipment supporting food storage, pharmaceutical, and other temperature-controlled applications.
• Handle refrigerants responsibly and perform work in accordance with applicable environmental and safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding system conditions, recommended repairs, and service needs.
• Provide clear explanations of technical issues and estimated repair costs when required.
• Respond to urgent service calls and equipment failures with timely and effective solutions.
• Stay current with HVAC/R equipment, technologies, service practices, and industry standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Technical education, trade school, or apprenticeship training in HVAC/R preferred.
• Relevant HVAC/R certifications preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
