• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Service RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, and boilers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation averaging about 2–3 times per year.

HB McClure is hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to support our Lancaster and Lancaster/York service territories. Starting compensation is around $32/hour based on experience, plus a $2,500 hiring bonus for qualified technicians. Our on‑call rotation averages only about 2–3 times per year.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems
• Service equipment including RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems
• Diagnose electrical and control circuits
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Work safely and independently while maintaining high quality workmanship
• Participate in an on‑call rotation averaging only about 2–3 times per year

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with electrical schematics, refrigeration practices, and control circuits
• Ability to work independently in the field
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops
• Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, to safely perform job duties, understand technical documentation, and interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
