Fortis Industries, LLC is seeking an on-site HVAC Technician for Midland, TX. The role includes inspection and maintenance of building systems, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors. The technician will log time, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory records are kept.

The HVAC Technician in Midland, TX. The technician will report to the Program Manager. This position is on-site.
We are interviewing for a full-time HVAC Technician in the Midland, Texas area. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the inspection and control of all preventive maintenance and repair of building and facility mechanical systems and related services. The working HVAC Technician must foster teamwork, cooperation, and results while monitoring efficiency, productivity and fiscally responsible. The following are key responsibilities associated with this position:
Job Duties:

• Utilizes Tsheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch.
• Creation of schedules.
• Maintains, repairs and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems.
• Orders replacement items through purchasing, and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment.
• Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing.
• Perform any additional duties on an “as required” basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
• Issue reports and summaries as required.
• Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Resolves clients’ concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance.
• Create estimates as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• The HVAC Technician will have 2 years’ experience in the Operations & Maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Environmental (to include Oil Water Separator Servicing) and Water Treatment procedures.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain organization.
• Familiar with RS Means.
• The HVAC Technician will be proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project), possess outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Required license or certification:

• Driver’s License
• HVAC License/Certification
• EPA Universal or EPI I and EPI III

Pay Range $27.35 per hour
$5.09 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits)
