Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) in Springfield, VA is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support one of our educational partners. You will inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems while coordinating with contractors and the building manager to ensure client satisfaction.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with salary ranging from $35 to $40 per hour. Benefits include parking and a comprehensive package. EOE.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience operating and maintaining commercial buildings/familiarity with chillers.
• Must have strong BAS/EMS experience.
• Journeyman level skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and equipment.
• Provide maintenance on a scheduled basis and diagnose HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues as required.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and building manager to ensure client satisfaction.
• Document work performed on tickets/work orders and prepare system status reports.

Responsibilities

Complete Building Services is adding an experienced HVAC Technician to our team. You will be supporting one of our educational partners in Springfield, VA.

The major job duties are listed below:

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspectionsof systems and associated equipment.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain equipment to industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems as required and/or as assigned by the supervisor.
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.
• Interface with the building manager and other customer representatives to ensure client satisfaction.
• Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports of the system status as directed by the supervisor.
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed.Place or remove systems and equipment as directed.
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion.
• Prepare and distributedaily, weekly and monthly reports of system status and work completed.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and security systems and associated hardware and equipment as directed.
• Prepare predictive maintenance on assigned equipment to prevent breakdowns and/or outages.
• Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders.

Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
