Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an HVAC Technician to support major oil & gas accounts. You’ll install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, monitor performance, and respond to service calls while upholding safety and quality standards.

Minimum 1 year of experience and EPA CFC Universal Certification are required. The role offers full-time hours with varying shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• EPA CFC Universal Certificate required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems including chilled water, VAV, VRF, single/multi-split.
• BMS experience may be required in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Respond to hot/cold calls and troubleshoot issues.
• Check and replace valves, motors, controls, wiring, and related components.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time.
• Other duties as needed by client requirements.

Location: Major Oil & Gas Company

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $30.00 per hour - $41.76 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
