Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an HVAC Technician for a full-time role. The technician will install, service, and repair HVAC systems, monitor operations, and respond to maintenance requests to keep facilities safe and efficient.

Candidates should have 1+ year of related experience, EPA CFC Universal certification, and knowledge of commercial HVAC components. A valid license is required where the work is performed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience.
• EPA CFC Universal Certificate is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including chilled water and VRF.
• Valid license/certification for work per city/state regulations.
• Experience with maintenance and diagnostics on commercial systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Respond to hot and cold calls and troubleshoot issues.
• Check and replace valves, motors, controls, wiring, and other components.
• Attend shifts on time and be reliable.
• Other duties as assigned based on client needs.

HVAC Technician

Location: Major Oil & Gas Company

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $30.00 per hour - $41.76 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
