This position, located in Rockville, MD, involves maintaining critical systems, ensuring a safe work environment, and responding to emergency calls. Responsibilities include maintaining building systems, fire safety equipment, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and client property.

The salary ranges from $47.00 to $55.00 per hour, with potential for bonuses. Compensation depends on location, experience, training, and other factors.

Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, VAVs, RTUs, VRV-VRF systems, water-source systems, and related equipment.
2. Practice safety procedures and hold others accountable.
3. Manage and schedule work effectively.
4. Complete service jobs and inspections professionally.
5. Communicate job status and progress to clients and managers.
6. Perform routine preventative maintenance.
7. Be available for on-call rotations, including overtime and weekends.
8. Maintain building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and air handling systems.
9. Lift heavy tools/materials up to 75 pounds, work safely from ladders or lifts, and in tight spaces.
10. Coordinate with outside contractors and manage inventory and records.
11. Purchase supplies and equipment as needed.
12. Have 5+ years of service experience, with HVAC Journeyman license required or Master license preferred.
13. Experience with complex HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, pumps, VAV systems, humidifiers, and cooling towers.
14. Work at heights up to 60 feet, climbing ladders and scaffolds.
15. Perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
16. Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and regulations.
17. EPA Universal 608 certification required.
