Qualifications

• Hands-on repair and maintenance of HVAC systems and components.
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic system safety practices.
• Ability to train and mentor technicians and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and related electrical/pneumatic components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation while following codes and safety standards.
• Educate and coach Lead Engineers, Facility Engineers, and Technicians as directed by supervisors.
• Identify and mitigate risks of energized work, heights, and confined spaces using proper PPE.
• Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and maintaining service quality.

As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $33-36/hour

Shift: Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm & 2-10pm OR 12-8pm swing- on call every 4 weeks

What's the Job?

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and associated electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of building systems, adhering to all relevant codes, laws, and safety standards.
• Evaluate, train, and coach a team of Lead Engineers, Facility Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians as directed by supervisors.
• Recognize, assess, and mitigate risks associated with energized work, working at heights, and confined spaces, utilizing proper PPE and safety practices.
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, maintaining service quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
