Job summary

Clariant Corporation in Louisville is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. You will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation across facilities.

The role requires 1+ year experience, EPA CFC Universal certification, and the ability to respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and work with building management systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years related work experience.
• EPA CFC Universal Certificate required.
• Knowledge of diverse HVAC systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across sites.
• Monitor systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Inspect valves, motors, controls, and related components for faults.
• Attend shifts on time and adhere to requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed by the account.

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20 - $34.81

What You’ll Do: As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
