Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an HVAC Technician in the Beaufort area to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will monitor systems, perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and troubleshoot equipment while upholding safety standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA CFC Universal Certificate required for the city/state of work.
• 1+ year related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure routine preventive maintenance is performed according to schedules.
• Respond to hot and cold calls, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Check, repair and/or replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other components.
• Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: WEEKDAYS ONLY - Specific Shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $22 per hour - $32 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
