Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring for residential HVAC service roles in Gaithersburg, MD. The position supports technicians in service, repair, installation and maintenance of HVAC systems in homes.

The job requires at least 1 year in the trades, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication plus technical skills. NATE certification is preferred and a background/drug screen will be conducted; clean driving record is expected.

Job Summary

Job Duties

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential HVAC systems
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions, and determine extent of necessary repairs
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 Year in the Trades
• High school diploma or equivalent
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
