Job summary

The Crossing at Big Creek in Alabama is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC systems for commercial environments. You will diagnose issues from schematics and perform repairs on AAON, Data Air, mini-split, and package units, plus preventive maintenance with thorough documentation.

EPA certification and a valid driver's license are required, and candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Technician Certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Servicing products and equipment including AAON Units, Data Air Units, Mini Split Systems, and Package Units.
• Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems.
• Uses hand tools and follows blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts. Experience with commercial refrigeration systems (HVACR) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment to include AAON Units, Data Air Units, Mini Split Systems, and Package Units.
• Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
• Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Valid driver's license
• EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification
• Can successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
