Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation units, and refrigeration systems.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and recommend effective solutions.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.

Ensure all installations and repairs meet local HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Test systems and components for proper functioning using specialized tools and gauges.

Provide clear communication and updates to customers and supervisors.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports.

Stay up to date with new technologies and techniques in the HVAC industry.

Qualifications:

EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and maintenance practices.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related problems.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of environments (rooftops, attics, crawl spaces).

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and green building standards.

Comfort working with both residential and commercial systems.
