Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Technician to service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems in the Columbia, MD area. You will diagnose issues, perform required repairs, and ensure a safe, clean job site while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior, successful experience as an HVAC technician.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and determines extent of repairs.
• Keeps work area neat and inspects cleanliness after completion.
• Demonstrates safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Wears floor savers in the client’s home.
• Maintains company vehicle and keeps it clean inside and out.

Job Summary

This position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting.

Job Duties

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have prior, successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industry
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
