Sodexo is seeking an HVAC Technician at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. This full-time role covers overnights with rotating weekends, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

You will monitor systems, respond to calls, and ensure safety and compliance. Candidates should have 1+ years of experience, EPA CFC Universal certification, and knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related HVAC work experience.
• EPA CFC Universal Certification required.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
• License/certification for the city/state where work is performed.

HVAC Technician

Location: UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS CLEVELAND MEDICAL CENTER - 10261016

Workdays/shifts: Overnights - varying days, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $26 - $38

What You'll Do:

As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
