Job summary

Maintenance Technician at Sodexo is based at EMORY & HENRY COLLEGE (97551001). The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple trades, with morning and afternoon/evening shifts on weekdays.

You will ensure safety, quality, and reliable operation of facilities and equipment. We seek hands-on technicians with 2+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the appropriate licenses/certifications for work in the city/state.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Hold required license/certification for the specific work

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in multiple skill areas (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.).
• Replace lighting, install dispensers, replace filters, locks, minor maintenance tasks.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and reliably.
• Other duties as assigned per account requirements.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour - $23. per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Maintenance Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
