This position is a fully onsite role in Austin, TX, with a competitive pay range of $30.00 - $40.00/hr. The application deadline is July 1, 2025.

Job Description

As an HVAC Controls Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the field commissioning of building automation systems tailored specifically for each customer. You will be responsible for solving complex problems, training less experienced Field Engineers, and serving as a product and technical expert in the field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, guiding others in problem-solving strategies.
• Conduct system maintenance on field controllers, servers, workstations, and associated hardware.
• Identify and communicate technical issues, recommending necessary upgrades, enhancements, or repairs.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide status updates to customers throughout the project.
• Deliver customized training to owners and operators for system upgrades and service improvements.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.

• Experience managing multiple challenges across disciplines.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or technical certificate in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Troubleshooting skills for complex HVAC and building automation system logic.

Benefits
