Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a reliable HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our clients in Anchorage. You’ll handle new installs, routine maintenance, and adherence to safety codes.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on HVAC experience, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and strong communication skills to explain work to clients. A valid driver’s license is required to travel to sites and coordinate service calls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC experience (installation, service, or repair).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical components.
• Comfortable using diagnostic and hand tools on the job.
• Strong communication skills for explaining work to clients.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioners, heaters, furnaces, and ventilation equipment per manufacturer specs and code requirements.
• Complete scheduled maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and extend their lifespan.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on HVAC systems and make repairs, replacing worn or failed parts as needed.
