Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting HVAC Tech/Mechanics to support the North Texas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with schedule changes possible at the direction of Ansible or its customers.

Qualifications include Texas HVAC License, Siemens Controls Training, OSHA Certification, and at least four years as a journeyman level HVAC mechanic. Experience with large commercial HVAC systems and hospital environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of journeyman-level refrigeration and air conditioning experience.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and chilled water systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting HVAC Tech/Mechanics to support the North Texas VA Medical Center located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216. Shift schedule will typically be Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑4:30pm. Responsibilities

• Install, operate, repair, and maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and chilled water systems.
• Work on equipment ranging from small domestic units to systems up to 300 HP and central plants up to 500 tons.
• Inspect HVAC and refrigeration equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and both major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot refrigerant leaks, mechanical failures, and control systems.
• Service compressors and HVAC components.
• Adjust, calibrate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
• Perform chemical treatment of HVAC water systems.
• Coordinate daily work assignments with the VA COR.
• Provide daily reports including completed work, preventive maintenance, parts replaced, equipment serviced, and follow‑up needs.
• Complete daily timecards and documentation of work performed.
• Follow VA check‑in/check‑out procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of journeyman‑level refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and chilled water systems.
• Experience performing repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on large commercial HVAC systems.
• Experience in hospital or critical infrastructure environments preferred
• Texas HVAC License required.
• Siemens Controls Training certification required.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret:
