Hyatt Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, CA, is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic III to join our Engineering/Facility Maintenance team. This full-time, hourly role focuses on maintaining guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house systems with an emphasis on life-safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has EPA 608 certification, 5+ years in building maintenance, and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Experience with life-safety systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems for maintenance tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to cover shifts as needed.

Responsabilités

• Shift coverage across various maintenance areas, requiring a keen eye for detail and quick troubleshooting abilities.
• Performing preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of all resort facilities.
• Utilizing Windows-based systems to manage and track maintenance activities.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to aid in system repairs and improvements.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting life-safety systems, guaranteeing guest and team member safety at all times.
