Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a detail-oriented HVAC TAB Technician to balance air and hydronic systems in accordance with design specs. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, perform tests, and ensure compliance with project plans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong math skills, with a preference for NEBB/AABC certification. You will document activities using standard reporting procedures and work independently to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NEBB or AABC certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong math skills, including calculations related to air and water balancing.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical documents, and SOWs.

Responsibilities

• Test, adjust, and balance air and hydronic HVAC systems to meet design specifications.
• Inspect systems to verify compliance with project plans and identify performance issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data.
• Accurately document all testing, adjusting, and balancing activities using project-specific reporting procedures.
