Job summary

Jobtailor in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled HVAC Test, Adjust and Balance (TAB) technician to ensure systems meet design specifications. You will inspect, test, and balance hydronic and air systems, and document findings using project reporting procedures.

You will read mechanical drawings, control schematics, and equipment data, and work independently with accuracy and attention to detail to support quality installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong math skills including calculations for balancing air and water.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical documents, and SOWs.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Test, adjust, and balance (TAB) HVAC systems to meet design specs.
• Inspect systems to verify compliance and identify performance issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data.
• Accurately document all TAB activities using project reporting procedures.
