Job summary

Merrimack County is seeking a Facilities Systems Technician to maintain and repair building systems across campuses. You will work on heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and general maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Required qualifications include an associates degree or technical training in mechanical or electrical technology, five years of hands-on experience, and a valid New Hampshire driver’s license. A background check will be conducted for conditional hires.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical technology.
• Five years of experience operating and maintaining building mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License required.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree from a recognized technical school with a major in mechanical or electrical technology or maintenance or on the job experience.

EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years experience in the operation and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical equipment used in buildings or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledges, skills and abilities.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License is required.
