Job summary

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to install, replace, and retrofit commercial HVAC systems for our Manchester, NH Operations Group.

The role requires experience with commercial HVAC systems, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety; boiler and steam experience is a plus. You will be part of a professional team dedicated to high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate HVAC systems.
• Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
• Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following.

Install, maintain, trouble shoot, repair and operate HVAC systems.

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
