Job summary

City and County of Denver is seeking an HVAC Supervisor to lead a skilled trades team at Denver International Airport. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and performance of commercial HVAC and related building systems, driving reliability and operational excellence.

The role requires 4+ years in skilled trades with HVAC focus, relevant licenses, and CFMP or equivalent certification. On-site, with shift-based duties and possible snow/emergency hours.

Qualifications

• 4 years of journey-level skilled trades or facility maintenance operations experience.
• High school diploma or GED, HiSET or TASC.
• CFMP or equivalent certification; HVAC Journeyman licenses required before completion of probation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of HVAC technicians and maintenance staff.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring timely completion.
• Provide technical guidance for HVAC, refrigeration and related systems.
• Monitor work orders and resource usage to meet service levels.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with regulations.
