Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations & Project Execution
• Oversee daily field operations across multiple HVAC/mechanical construction projects
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and per contract specifications
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across job sites
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or risks
• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel
• Support workforce planning, staffing, and labor productivity
• Promote accountability and high-performance standards across field teams
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Conduct regular job site visits, audits, and safety meetings
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Quality Control
• Ensure all HVAC installations meet design specifications, codes, and company standards
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams as needed
• Address and resolve field issues, rework, or deficiencies
• Coordination & Communication
• Partner with Project Managers to align field execution with project goals
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other trades
• Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews
• Budget & Cost Control
• Monitor labor costs, productivity, and job performance metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Support forecasting and resource planning efforts

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical construction, with progressive field leadership experience
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, ductwork, and mechanical installations
• Deep understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and field coordination
• OSHA certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
