Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Service / Start-Up Technician for large-scale Southeast construction projects. The role focuses on start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, warranty work, and ongoing service of complex HVAC systems, including VRF/VRV and DX configurations.

Candidates should have 5+ years of HVAC experience on multifamily, high-rise, or commercial sites, EPA Universal Certification, and willingness to regional travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of HVAC service, start-up, warranty, and/or commissioning experience.
Strong experience with VRF, VRV, and DX systems.
Solid understanding of refrigeration systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform HVAC equipment start-up and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Perform service and warranty work on installed equipment.
Work extensively with VRF, VRV, and DX systems.
Diagnose refrigerant, controls, and equipment performance issues.
Verify systems are installed and operating according to manufacturer specifications.
Coordinate with field supervision, project teams, manufacturers, and other trades.
Document start-up, testing, service, and commissioning activities.
