Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and install commercial systems. The role covers startup, troubleshooting, and occasional dispatch duties, requiring five years of field experience and EPA/state credentials.

Candidates should be organized, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid driver’s license and own hand tools are necessary for site work.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5-Years Commercial Experience
• Preferred experience diagnosing and servicing split systems and package units
• Preferred experience in refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, low-temperature application, and controls knowledge.
• Preferred experience troubleshooting controls and building automation. Working knowledge of electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostat controls of HVAC equipment.
• Preferred experience dispatching and/or scheduling technicians.
• Good Communication Skills
• Must be organized, punctual and dependable
• Self motivated and ability to work alone with little supervision
• Technical knowledge of equipment and ability to diagnose & troubleshoot systems
• Technical knowledge for start-up and installation of HVAC equipment up to 25-tons
• Have a clean, neat and professional appearance; pride of workmanship in their work
• Flexible and willing to work overtime and occasional out of town work
• Must have DRIVER'S LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD
• Must PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
• Must be State Registered & EPA certified
• Must have own hand tools, drills, gauges, and some specialized equipment.
