Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to install metal duct and fiberglass board HVAC systems at client sites in Orlando. The role requires reading blueprints, performing duct installation in multiple configurations, and maintaining tools and work area while adhering to safety guidelines.

The candidate should have 6 months of related experience, own basic hand tools, and the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights. OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in sheet metal and fiberglass duct work on commercial/residential projects.
• Must have own sheet metal hand tools and company supplies power tools.
• Able to follow job-site instructions.
• Lift heavy materials and work at heights.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties beyond scope when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs metal duct and fiberglass board.
• Reads blueprints and understands sheet metal shop drawings.
• Performs all phases of duct installation (spiral, rectangular, double wall, welded).
• Understands various connectors used.
• Performs hanger layout and some field measurements.
• Keeps work area organized and maintains hand tools.
• Lifts heavy materials and works at heights.
