Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic in New Orleans to install metal ducts and fiberglass boards for commercial and residential projects. You will read blueprints, perform all phases of duct installation, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of relevant experience, own basic sheet metal hand tools, and the ability to lift heavy materials, climb and work in varied environments. OSHA 10/30 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in sheet metal and fiberglass duct work on commercial or residential projects.
• Owns sheet metal hand tools; company supplies power tools.
• Able to follow job-site instructions and lift heavy materials.
• Clear verbal and written communication; detail oriented.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret sheet metal drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs metal duct and fiberglass board.
• Blueprint reading and understanding sheet metal shop drawings.
• All phases of duct installation (spiral, rectangular, double wall, welded).
• Understand connectors used in duct systems.
