The ideal candidate is self-motivated and experienced in commercial sheet metal work, including fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal components and equipment. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to determine appropriate fabrication and installation methods, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• 5 years of required experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Connecticut Sheet Metal 2 License is required.
• Valid driver's license and good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints, sketches, and specs to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal.
• Lay out dimensions on material and trace patterns for fabrication.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines (shears, brakes, presses, routers).
• Train apprentices and coordinate with other trades on site.
• Follow safety policies and maintain professional client interactions.
