Job summary

SoGood Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a proven leader to build and mentor a service leadership team in the Richmond area. You’ll design training programs, coach technicians on customer rapport, optimize service calls, and elevate technical skills across the department.

You will drive revenue growth through effective coaching, leadership development, and hands-on operational excellence, while promoting a culture of quality and integrity in every job.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a HVAC service organization.
• Experience designing and delivering technician trainings.
• Ability to coach technicians to improve service quality and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly trainings with technicians to develop service skills.
• Understand sales criteria and help team exceed revenue goals.
• Perform ride-alongs and debrief to improve performance.
• Monitor technician performance and advise on improvements.
• Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to sell products and services.
• Provide technical support for HVAC-related issues.

The Big Task

You will facilitate training and coach our service technicians on developing customer rapport, optimizing service calls, and technical skills.

Key Sub Tasks

• Conduct weekly and as needed trainings with technicians to develop their service skills.
• Understand sales criteria and hold your team to exceed revenue goals.
• Conduct ride alongs with service technicians and debrief with them afterward.
• Monitor performance of field technicians and advise them on how to improve.
• Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
• Provide technical support for anything and everything HVAC.
