JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Service Tech I: The Service Technician I is often a recent graduate from an accredited trade school entering the field of HVAC service and repair and/or has 3 or fewer years of experience. This position is qualified to make repairs in the field but is not yet proficient enough to diagnose repairs without supervision. Proficiency in preventative maintenance work is expected. Attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are valued more than skill level.

Service Tech II: The Service Technician II has required certifications, including EPA certification, and generally has more than 3 years of experience in HVAC service and repair. This role is skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial-grade HVAC equipment.

Service Tech III: The Service Technician III has required certifications, including EPA certification, and over 5 years of experience. This technician is capable of working independently, performing full maintenance and servicing a wide variety of commercial air-conditioning equipment.
