Job summary

Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for full-time on-site work in Central Florida. You will diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems, deliver white-glove service, and perform maintenance and tune-ups for system longevity.

You’ll educate clients on energy efficiency, document visits with digital tools, and collaborate with dispatch and installers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential HVAC diagnostics, repair, and service.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
• Clean and valid Florida driver’s license.
• Own high-quality tools and know how to use them.
• Respect for the craft, the team, and the customer.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Specific Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in residential HVAC diagnostics, repair, and service
• Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor Florida conditions. Position requires frequent standing, bending, climbing ladders, and use of HVAC tools and equipment while working safely in environments exposed to heat, dust, noise, and mechanical hazards.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
