Job summary

Carolina Air is looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, ductwork, and related components. You’ll work with a hands-on team, using ServiceTitan to track repairs and communicate with customers about issues and solutions.

Requirements include at least 2 years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 Universal Certification, a clean U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (ServiceTitan).
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance.
