Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, maintain and service residential heating and air conditioning systems. Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC Service Tech experience.
• EPA certification universal & TDLR preferred.
• Clean driving record and dependable transportation.
• Able to navigate attics, crawlspaces safely.
• Physically able to lift and carry HVAC materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
• Perform HVAC troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, airflow testing, refrigerant charging and system performance evaluations.
• Evaluate and recommend IAQ solutions including air filtration and humidity control.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service on every service call.
