American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems, including addressing failed inspection issues. The role focuses on delivering reliable HVAC repairs and diagnostics for homeowners.

The position is with ARS, the nation39s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, offering full-time, year-round work, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units.
• Must be able to fix failed inspection issues.
• Disassemble and remove outdated HVAC systems, then install, start up, and troubleshoot new residential HVAC systems.
• Perform HVAC repairs, service calls, and preventative maintenance.
• Identify system issues and recommend appropriate heating and air conditioning solutions.
• Ensure all HVAC service work meets company standards and local code requirements.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about system performance and recommended repairs.
• Deliver professional customer service while completing HVAC service and repair work.
