Job summary

Thirty Madison Ventures is seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Cheshire, CT to diagnose and service residential and light commercial systems. You’ll start your day from home, run 3–4 service calls, and typically wrap by 4pm, with a take-home company vehicle and a performance-based bonus structure.

Competitive pay of $35–$50 per hour plus spiffs, commissions, and truck revenue bonuses, plus health and dental benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service experience (5–7 years ideal).
• Strong knowledge of oil, gas, heat pumps, AC, and hydronic systems.
• Residential or light commercial background; no heavy commercial work.
• Strong diagnostic skills and fix-it-right-the-first-time mindset.
• EPA 608 cert and CT license required; pass drug, background, and driving checks.

Responsibilities

• Run 3–4 residential and light commercial maintenance, demand, and service calls daily in 4-hour windows.
• Work on oil, gas, heat pump, AC, and hydronic systems.
• Perform full diagnostics and fix the root issue rather than patching it.
• Explain findings to homeowners in plain language and present options.
• Quote, finance, and close replacement jobs or hand off to a Comfort Advisor.
• Manage calls, notes, and quotes on a company iPad in a cloud-based system.
