New England Mechanical Services seeks a licensed HVAC Technician (RT) to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for our Palmer, Massachusetts Operations Group. We serve Western and Central Massachusetts and offer growth opportunities and a sign-on bonus.

You must have a Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and EPA 608 Universal, with a clean driving record; MA Oil Burner Technician certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have commercial HVAC system experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to respond on short notice and work overtime when required.

Responsabilités

• Attend safety trainings provided by the company.

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a licensed HVAC Technician (RT) to maintain trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for ourPalmer, MassachusettsOperations Group.

We serve commercial customers in Western and Central Massachusetts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following.

Keep trade licenses and certifications current. Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License.
• EPA 608 Universal required.
• Commercial HVAC systems experience.
• Must have a clean driving record
• MA Oil Burner Technician certificate preferredbut not required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.

Geographic Disclosure

Salary range $35.00-$55.00 per hour plus benefits.

Overtime is available.
